Terms of Service

version: v1 — published 2026-05-05

This is the v1 version of the Notchy Terms of Service. See “Versioned URLs” below for the immutability rationale. Last updated: 2026-05-05.

Acceptance of these Terms

By installing or using Notchy (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The App is published by Redwood Strategy Partners LLC (“RSP”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a California limited liability company based in San Francisco. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install the App.

Personal record-keeping tool, not an official attendance system

Notchy is provided as a personal tool to help you keep track of where you worked. It is not affiliated with your employer, your HR system, or any official attendance tracker. If your employer requires a specific compliance system, use that system as well — Notchy is for you.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Notchy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, RSP grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on iOS devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

In-App Purchases

After your first 30 logged days of use, the full features of the App are unlocked via a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple Family Sharing applies where Apple’s platform supports it. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat as our entitlement processor; see the Privacy Policy for details on what RevenueCat receives.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” RSP disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Notchy’s compliance read is provided for personal record-keeping only and is not a substitute for any official attendance, compliance, or HR system your employer may require.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RSP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the App.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. RSP may terminate the license at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate by uninstalling the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) survive.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Versioned URLs

This document lives at https://getnotchy.com/terms/v1. When we issue a new version of these Terms, we will publish it at /terms/v2; this v1 page will remain reachable indefinitely so any prior acceptance of these Terms remains verifiable.

Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms by publishing a new version at a new URL (e.g., /terms/v2). On the next App launch after publication, you will be prompted to review and accept the new version. Continued use of the App after acceptance signifies agreement.
